Community Involvement
Mr. Seeberger has no trouble keeping himself busy when he is not in the office. When he is not at work, one can always find him volunteering in his community, whether it be at his church or in his children’s schools.
For many years, Mr. Seeberger was very active in his parish and his children’s elementary school, Our Lady of Fatima. He has been singing in the Church choir for 10 years, and has been the head chef for a number of parish dinner affairs and bingos cooking for groups as large as 300 people. Mr. Seeberger also heads the Famous Fried Dough stand at the Fatima Carnival each June.
Mr. Seeberger also made a name for himself as a soccer coach and Director of Fatima Soccer. For seven wonderful years he coached his daughter’s soccer team, leading them to many a championship and teaching them the valuable skills of teamwork, commitment, resilience, and strategy along the way. The girls loved his coaching and playing together so much, that they continued their grade school team into their high school years, playing together every Sunday. Mr. Seeberger continues to coach a group of high school boys for Our Lady of Fatima's indoor team.
More recently, Mr. Seeberger has been volunteering at Mount de Sales Academy for Girls where he acts as the co-coach and legal advisor for the school’s Mock Trial team. In the Mock Trial Competition, schools receive a fictional case which they read and analyze to present in court. Each school prepares both a prosecution and defense for the case and competes against other high schools in the County and State before a judge and two scorers. In preparation, the teams analyze and strategize the case and their tactics, produce a line of reasoned questioning for each witness, and perfect their oral arguments. Mount de Sales Academy's 2009-2010 team advanced to the County semi-finals.
