The Firm maintains a diverse, general civil litigation practice before the State
and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Extensive experience
in all aspects of wide range of general civil litigation matters including complex
litigation. Practice areas include commercial and business litigation, construction
law, insurance defense, plaintiff personal injury, estate litigation, estate
administration, will preparation and will contests, medical malpractice, contract
review, preparation and contract disputes, workers’ compensation, appellate
practice, family law, employment law, OSHA defense, intentional torts, insurance
coverage; also experienced in handling negotiations, including mediations and
arbitrations. The Firm has provided local counsel services for out-of-state attorneys
in complex civil litigation. Extensive experience in all aspects of managing a small

Teach - Sports and Recreation Law, an upper-class elective. From the substantive
perspective of sports and recreation, the class covers a brief history of American
Jurisprudence, court systems, case law and statutory law; torts, contracts, agency,
labor law, anti-trust, labor development of the four major league sports, college
athletics and NCAA, Olympics, intellectual property, women and sports, drug
testing, and current legal events and issues in sports.
Teach - Legal Environment of Business. The course covers development of the
law, structure of the court systems, jurisdiction and civil procedure, and multiple
substantive areas of civil law which impact business.
